Developing Expertise & Moving On…

It is true: I am solely responsible for my training and education. It is my responsibility to ensure that I am trained, not that of any employer, but mine. I have truly embraced this philosophy.

In the past, when ex-employers told me I was responsible for my own training and that they were not obligated to train me, it was after they had betrayed me. I took a job on the condition that I would receive specific training for that particular subject matter. When I got there, I was told: “There will be no development plan for you!”

Last year, when I used to read job descriptions for fake jobs—this was how they used to send messages to me —these job descriptions that repeatedly stated: “I am responsible for my own training.”

Now that I am training myself, what exactly is the problem? Why are you so distressed…

I suspect that when the ex-employer stated “You are responsible for your own training,” they didn’t expect me to have access to the information that would really make a difference. They thought that the only place I could obtain such information was through them; and they were never going to give it to me, or if they did, it would be at such a slow pace that I would never progress.

My ex-employers wanted to use information as a tool to control me, and now they are distressed because they cannot control me anymore. That is the real reason why they accessed my personal account.

We live in a time where AI has revolutionised access to information. Where once, information was available only at the discretion of “experts,” now anyone can gain access to that information. Anyone can learn a subject area, and anyone, providing they have the capability, can become an expert in whatever subject matter they choose.

It is true, I am totally responsible for my training and education. I don’t rely on anyone training me, because I have an infinite source of information at my fingertips.

The playing field is level; nothing is sacred anymore. Anyone can gain access.

Anyone who denies this truth is living in the past and will be swept away and left behind.

So, when are my ex-employers going to allow me to work as an Associate Director—which is what I should have been doing over three years ago?

I know my level and what a Senior Manager should be capable of. I was there, remember, working in that company; I interacted with Senior Managers and saw their output. My ex-employers need to realise that I am not stupid, despite their desire for me to be so.

I have been put through financial hardship simply because of someone's ego.

The level of control over me that some people feel entitled to is unhealthy and sickening. I know the reason for this attempt at control—they are not the first. It is because they cannot control how I feel, or control the narrative about me and what I am; they cannot let go of the past.

Ex-employers are not entitled to be involved with ex-employees' personal affairs, particularly after they have left their establishment or organisation, especially when the separation occurred over three years ago in one instance, and over five and a half years ago in another.

Ex-employers are not supposed to gain access to an ex-employee's private account without their knowledge or consent; even obtaining a court order would be challenging, as it is fundamentally against the law.

Ex-employers are not supposed to be embedded in an ex-employee’s life to the point where they become so intrusive that they cause destruction and harm.

These ex-employers are not the victims—in spite of what they claim. They are not living in debt and poverty, nor are they living in an area where they feel unsafe and insecure. They are not looking at the rest of their lives and wondering if they are going to spend it living in poverty. They are not dealing with continual intrusion.

They have nice homes to go to. They can buy clothes and food whenever they want. They can afford to buy presents for their families. They are not going to spend their old age in poverty.

Stop interfering in my affairs and let me get on with my life.

No one can undo or rewrite the past!

This behaviour is disgusting. It is intrusive, illegal, and stalking.
